Kris Marszalek's AI Platform ai.com Unveils Autonomous Agent Technology
Advocates believe AI agents represent a breakthrough technology that will make cryptocurrency trading and financial operations more accessible to everyday users.

The artificial intelligence platform ai.com, which was established by Kris Marszalek, who serves as co-founder and chief executive officer of Crypto.com, revealed on Friday its plans to introduce an autonomous artificial intelligence agent designed for everyday retail users.
This agentic artificial intelligence system will possess the capability to perform various operations ranging from stock trading to automating workflows, as well as handling straightforward tasks such as updating calendars and modifying online social media profiles, as detailed in the company's official announcement.
These agents will incorporate segregated data storage for each user, protected through encryption keys that are uniquely assigned to individual users, and will operate within boundaries defined by user-configured limitations that determine the agent's permitted actions, the announcement explained.
Artificial intelligence agents have captured considerable interest from the user community throughout the past year. Approximately one quarter (23%) of participants in a survey conducted by McKinsey, an investment research organization, reported that their companies were increasing their deployment of AI agents, as documented in a November publication from the firm.
The expansion of autonomous artificial intelligence agents has the potential to automate cryptocurrency trading methodologies and digital wallet administration, eliminating the technical obstacles that prevent entry for newcomers who lack familiarity with blockchain infrastructure and the execution of onchain transactions, supporters of this technology argue.
How agentic AI can remove the barrier to entry for cryptocurrencies and Web3
Such technical obstacles encompass selecting the appropriate blockchain network and token protocols for transferring funds, along with complicated user interfaces that present navigation challenges for individuals new to the space, as explained by Jonathan Farnell, who serves as CEO of cryptocurrency exchange Freedx.
Agentic artificial intelligence has the ability to eliminate the technical intricacies associated with cryptocurrencies by identifying the most cost-effective and rapid execution routes and making stablecoin utilization more straightforward, as stated by Reeve Collins, who co-founded Tether.
These capabilities may encompass optimization for arbitrage trading opportunities or yield-generating strategies, Collins explained in his conversation with Cointelegraph.

Collins further noted that autonomous artificial intelligence agents will enable users to maintain and manage more extensive portfolios containing progressively varied token standards.
